**If arriving by Taxi**
If arriving Via Taxi request the taxi to drop you off at the Main entrance (South Entrance) to the MGM Grand Conference Center. (Taxi's will at times have a tendency to ignore this or pretend not to know where this is and drop guests at the hotels main entrance.) Simply follow the signs to the Conference center by way of the Studio Walk.

**If arriving via Monorail**
The MGM Has 2 entrances ... Utilize the one to the MGM GRAND ENTRANCE not the Star lane Mall.
Entering the MGM, make a right towards the pool complex and follow the signs to the Conference Center/Grand Ballroom.

-5:00PM - FCP Trade Show
30 vendors to hang out with and learn from. First 250 people through the door get a SuperBag filled with over $250 worth of stuff.

- 6:30PM - 7:00PM - Apple's Richard Townhill - Latest on Final Cut Studio and the first public demo of Final Cut Server

- 7:00PM - 7:25PM - "Grading the Jaguar XF TV spot with Color" - Alex Bickel and Hal Wolverton
Alex and Hal will explain some of the creative processes and the importance of Final Cut Studio and Color during the post of the latest spots from Jaguar. Get insight into some the top creatives in the business.

JVC - Craig Yanagi and DV Info Net's Tim Dashwood - "What's new from JVC" and "The Fastest Music Video Cut... Ever"
JVC's Craig Yanagi will tell us all about what is new from JVC ProHD. Tim Dashwood will demonstrate how to output & record timecode from JVC's GY-HD250 and play it back from an ipod for use in perfect lip-sync TC slave for a music video shoot. The multiples tapeless takes will then be instantly synced into a multiclip for Final Cut Pro multicam editing.

Adobe - Steve Martin - "Using Production Premium to enhance Final Cut Studio workflow."
Steve will show you how to use Photoshop CS 3's to clone and heal pixels in your video (that's right, Photoshop does video!) You'll also learn how to use Illustrator's amazing Live Color feature which allows you to interactively change the color of any vector artwork and have the changes update in Final Cut Pro. Finally, Steve will show you how to use After Effect's Brainstorm to generate killer animated backgrounds you can use in Motion, Final Cut Pro or DVD Studio Pro.

- 8:05PM - 8:10PM - Phantom High Speed Camera - Noah Kadner
Noah will present high-speed footage from Vision Research's Phantom HD camera. The Phantom captures slow-motion at up to 1,000 frames per second in full uncompressed 2K. That's really, really fast!

- 8:10PM - 8:25PM - Wounded Marines Careers Foundation - Inaugural Class
Marines and instructors from the Wounded Marine Careers Foundation in San Diego will show clips of their work and talk about what they've learned in the 10 week film and media production school which trains wounded Marines for a career in media, filmmaking, sound design, editing, graphics and photojournalism. Footage from Red shooters from around the world will be shown, and the usual RED surprises are bound to happen...

9:35PM - 9:45PM -The Scariest "Editing" Tool You Will Ever See" - Philip Hodgetts
It's 6pm, and you get a call from your producer: she absolutely, positively has to have the first cut by 11am the next day to show some potential investors. Trouble is, you've been staring at an empty timeline for the best part of the last week, fiddling with a few ideas where clips threw themselves at each other, but generally, you haven't got a lot done yet. Are you doomed? Or is there hope...
